I'M A CHRONICLER OF ARTISTIC LIFE
We know that taste in art is subjective, but we must admit that art may be used as a vehicle for propaganda.

VEX & ME
They say all students are natural scientists and engineers. They love to question, tinker, experiment and play. VEX competitions foster these skills and capitalize on the motivational effects of competitions and robotics to help all students create an identity as a STEM learner. VEX competitions are also a great way to expose students to valuable soft skills like communication, collaboration and time-management in a fun and authentic way All these are also the feelings I get from participating in the VEX robot activities organized by our school. As the communicator of the event, through the records and interviews along the way, I understand that this is a team cooperation competition, which not only requires innovation and respect for each member's ideas, but also needs the cohesion of the team to go towards the common goal. This experience is exactly the same as when I worked in the Student Government Association (SGA) of the school. As the Vice President of the Student Government Association (SGA), I held one of the three primary leadership positions in the 140-member organization. Despite our shared vision of expanding the impact of the student government, our diverse personalities often led to disagreements during discussions, creating tension within the group. Unfortunately, this situation resulted in an increasing number of members leaving, which directly contradicted our original goal. It is through the harvest in the activity bit by bit, let me determined to find a solution and positively influence others, bridge differences, and foster long-term teamwork, I embarked on a mission to transform our student government.

THIS IS MY STORY
From a young age, I embarked on a basketball journey driven by passion and joy. Growing up in the bustling city of Tianjin, China, where talent often overshadowed individual uniqueness, basketball provided me with a shining stage to showcase my skills and discover my true potential. What started as a pleasurable hobby soon evolved into my greatest talent, molding my character, and illuminating my path of personal growth and self-discovery.
In the pursuit of basketball, I encountered numerous challenges and setbacks. Slow memorization of movements demanded repetitive practice, and my lack of flexibility required relentless effort. Coaches even doubted some of my abilities, considering my physical condition imperfect. Undeterred, I dedicated myself to continuous improvement, braving the cold winds of winter and the scorching heat of summer to run and jump with unwavering determination. Over time, my hard work paid off, and I earned a spot on my school's varsity team, a testament to my perseverance and ability to overcome obstacles.
Basketball not only taught me resilience on the court but also the strength to face defeat and learn from it. From initially shying away from direct competition to confidently staring down opponents and using my strength to dominate, I grew both as an athlete and an individual. Each loss taught me valuable lessons, leading me to analyze my performance, study my opponents, and strategize for future encounters. I realized that life, like basketball, is a series of ups and downs, and every setback is an opportunity for growth. This newfound resilience translated into other aspects of my life, particularly in academics.
